Fuel Pump and Tanks
Fuel pressure should be read before the adjustable regulator.
The fuel pressure with the pumps running but engine off should be 4 to 5psi. When started, it is standard for the pressure of the tank to fall to 1psi (but should read less than 3.5psi.)
A fellow “G” owner has recommended using Moyer Fuel Tank Renu (in PA, USA) to repair damaged fuel tanks.
Although it is rumored that you must remove the engine to remove the fuel tanks, this is not so. You will need to unbolt the seatbelts and the brackets for the gas struts, but the fuel tanks can be removed with the engine in place.
